Breast Lift
What Is a Breast Lift?
Breast lift, also known as mastopexy, is a plastic surgery procedure that removes excess skin from the breasts and tightens the remaining breast tissue to give the breasts a more youthful appearance. The procedure can provide patients with perky and firm breasts that look natural.
A breast lift doesn't alter the size of the breasts, but it can be combined with other plastic surgery procedures like breast reduction or breast augmentation with breast implants if patients want more control over the size, shape, and position of their breasts.

What to Expect During the Breast Lift Procedure
The procedure can provide patients with perky and firm breasts that look natural.
Your mastopexy may take anywhere from three to four hours to complete, but it depends on the technique that is used.
Recovering From Breast Lift Surgery
In the days following your breast lift surgery, you can expect some bruising, swelling, and general discomfort. You can alleviate this discomfort by taking over-the-counter pain medication, using cool or warm compresses, and avoiding strenuous activity.
Patients can typically return to work and their regular activities in two to three weeks.
